My Approach to Psychiatry and Psychotherapy

I take a holistic and collaborative approach to my clinical work. I work with each person to clarify what imbalances may exist — biologically, psychologically, relationally, or spiritually — and to address these using an array of therapeutic approaches, including:
  • Psychotherapy
  • Nutrition and lifestyle optimization
  • Meditation and mindfulness practices
  • Thoughtful use of medications and supplements, when indicated
  • Hormonal and metabolic support
My therapeutic orientation draws from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work. My goal is always to help patients cultivate greater insight, confidence, and agency in their healing process.

Integrative Coaching & Mentorship

Although my psychiatry practice is currently full, I am accepting a limited number of integrative coaching clients.

This work is distinct from medical treatment or psychotherapy. It does not establish a doctor–patient relationship, nor does it involve diagnosis, prescription, or management of mental health conditions.

Coaching is instead a process of exploration and alignment — clarifying values, deepening awareness, and supporting meaningful change through mindfulness, reflection, and embodied practice.

Because this work is not medical in nature, I can offer coaching to individuals across state and national boundaries.

If you are interested, please mention “coaching” in your contact form.

A Shared Intention

Whether through psychiatry, psychotherapy, psilocybin facilitation, or integrative coaching, my intention is the same: to support you in a living a more embodied, empowered, and fulfilling life.
